The Faculty of Agriculture and Food Sciences (FSAA) cares about student success and is aware that financial support can help greatly.  The FSAA annually awards over $ 1.3 million in scholarships and grants for excellence, research and involvement.

These scholarships and grants are funded by the FSAA and its partners, philanthropic funds and granting agencies.

"The scholarships awarded by the FSAA, and its partners, encourage students to deepen their knowledge in exciting areas and provide considerable financial support during their studies. Through these scholarships, I got to meet generous donors and, as a result, create unique relationships with them. As a graduate in agronomy from Université Laval, I benefited from these scholarships that allowed me to study full-time and maintain an excellent academic record while holding various positions in student organizations. The experience I acquired outside the school curriculum helped me understand the importance of student involvement to boost academic life on campus. Working while studying is a difficult scenario, but these grants encourage us to work even harder towards excellence, promote the voluntary participation of students in their community and improve their professional skills, which will prove useful for future employment."
