The Agriculture, Food and Consumption Students’ General Society (AGÉTAAC) represents the seven Faculty of Agriculture and Food Sciences programs. It aims to:
• bring all students enrolled in various FSAA bachelor programs together
• defend its members’ educational, cultural, social, athletic and economic rights and interests
• represent its members at various Université Laval proceedings as well as off campus
• promote the Faculty’s student life and coordinate its members’ activities
Each FSAA bachelor program is represented by a student society, except both engineering programs which are in the same society. Each of these groups reports to Agriculture, Food and Consumption Students’ General Society (AGÉTAAC).
ADÉBAUL is made up of roughly 400 agronomy students.
Their mission: represent agronomy students within the Faculty and outside the University. They play a role in organizing activities and events that address the needs of future agronomists.
ADÉEN is made up of approximately 170 members.
Throughout the year, they organize numerous events including the popular Wine and Cheese and the Year-End Gala. They are undergraduate students from the FSAA nutrition program and Université Laval’s Health Sciences.
AGÉA consists of nearly 80 members at the FSAA.
It has set itself the task of organizing seminars and events to advertise this undergraduate program.
AssESTA focuses on offering its 130 members educational and social activities.
Career Happy Hours, a symposium and the Marchfest event are just some examples of activities that this dynamic team organizes.
REC is composed of more than 330 students and directs its efforts toward three objectives:
• encourage the integration of new students
• foster students’ sense of belonging
• promote the Consumer Sciences program to businesses and other Université Laval students
Uniting the two FSAA engineering programs (agro-environmental and agri-food), the REGAAUL sets itself apart within the Faculty for its involvement in several student and social projects while remaining attentive to its members’ needs. The ULtrac, the 4443 and the CEGEP tours are among their activities.
AGAA is the FSAA graduate studies student group. Their goal is to:
• represent and defend its members’ interests
• inform students about various activities organized by different committees, associations and university councils and encourage communication between its members by planning activities in order to help make the transition to graduate studies more enjoyable.
In addition, the AGAA is present at the Student Investment Fund assembly, the Faculty Council and the Germain Brisson Fund assembly.
AGAA students are also members of different groups:
• Plant Biology Student Researchers’ Society (AECBV)
• Agricultural Economics and Consumption Graduates’ Society (AGAC)
• Food Science and Technology Researchers’ Society (ACCESTA)
• Animal Science Student Researchers’ Society (ACCESA)
• Laval Registered Nutrition Graduates’ Society (AGNIL)

The AESBV includes all graduate students from the Plant Science department and the Soil and Agri-Food Engineering department.
Each year, we organize social, academic and/or professional activities, sometimes in collaboration with the AGAA and other student societies from the faculty. Those are occasions to get to know your colleagues, expand your network and acquire new competences.
Please connect to our Facebook page in order to keep track of our next activities. Also do not hesitate to let us know about your ideas!
