Master's Degree in Consumer Sciences Created

The new program will be offered beginning fall 2017

Members of the University council, who met in an ordinary session on Tuesday, March 7, gave the green light to the plans to create a master's program in consumer sciences. The project was presented by the dean of the Faculty of Agriculture and Food Sciences, Jean-Claude Dufour. It consists of separating the "consumer science" major from the master's program in agricultural economics and making a new master's program. The decision comes in response to the need for continuity from the undergraduate to the master's level in the field of consumer science.  To view the full article
