Attara Hell recognized for commitment to volunteering and inspiring attitude
Attara Hell, a master's student in food science, was awarded the prestigious Lieutenant Governor of Québec's Youth Medal during a special ceremony at the Parliament Building in Quebec City on April 8.
The Honourable J. Michel Doyon himself awarded the prestigious distinction to the FSAA student. The medal recognizes formal volunteer commitment at the social level as well as an inspiring attitude and positive influence as displayed by a student.
Energized by his passion for food science, Mr. Hell made his discipline shine both locally and internationally during his time at the Faculty. All while contributing to international science advancement through the development of an algae cheese, he has exhibited remarkable leadership and has put his expertise to work in the service of his community.
