This past July, during the joint conference of the Association québécoise de spécialistes en sciences du sol, the Canadian Society of Soil Science and the Interactions of Soil Minerals with Organic components and Microorganisms group, Jean Caron, professor in the Plant Science Department, was honoured for his major contribution to soil science.
